Our Goals
Our Focus
Develop Skill
Our goal is to help the athletes develop from wherever they are. We focus on fundamental game play, technical skills, and strategies to win.
Develop Character
Pickleball rewards positive thinking, self-confidence, and attitude. It’s also an extremely social sport. We feel these are wonderful life lessons.
Compete
We want to compete at the highest levels in the state.
Have Fun
“I’ll say this about WX pickleball, no other school is having as much fun out there as you guys are!”
— American Heritage Head Coach

Paul
EST. DUPR: 4.5+
Text 801-792-1100Paul has been playing pickleball for 6 or 7 years, plays nearly every single day, and LOVES it. In his spare time, he has a wife and four kids and runs a wealth management firm.
Heather
EST. DUPR: 3.25
Text 505-215-7447Married to her husband of 25 years and mom of four. Heather loves Jesus and loves watching her kids play the sports they love. She works in the WXHS Teen Center and finds it very rewarding. A native Texan, she has lived in Utah for seven years.
Greg Wood
EST. DUPR: 4.25
A lifelong tennis player, Greg fell in love with pickleball seven years ago. He brings a competitive spirit and a love for the game’s social side. His 4.0 highlights include gold in Clearfield mixed doubles and St. George PPA singles, plus silver finishes in Brigham City and at the St. George PPA event.
Jake Barlow
EST. DUPR: 4.5
Jake is a dad of three smart, athletic kids and has played pickleball for eight years—though he jokes his game peaked five years ago. He knows the rules and is ready to lead the club team to a new level of “better’ness.” For Jake, a great competitive game makes a bad day disappear, and he hopes his players find that same joy.
